Oh. No, just some Rocket Balm from Babeland. We decided we wanted to try out the Rocket Balm because on Babeland’s site it said that it was non-numbing, and we figured it would just add a bit of tingle to our hand jobs and oral sex. While it doesn’t specifically say that you should or shouldn’t eat it, I’ve had all sorts of lube in my mouth and figured it would be fine. Not only that, but the ingredients list on Babeland showed mainly natural ingredients, so I wasn’t worried.
When we got the Rocket Balm, it arrived quickly and in discreet packaging. The balm itself comes in a small box and unfolds to reveal a small metal tin. You could save the box if you want to, but I find that the tin is much more discreet and small without the box. Also, bear in mind that even without the box, people are going to know what this is for because it has not only a cartoon penis on it, but also says “Climax Control Balm” and “For His Pleasure” right on it.
The ingredients in this balm are numerous. They are as follows: Caprylic/capric triglyceride, grape seed oil, tridecyl trimellitate, beeswax, shea butter, cocoa seed butter, menthol, peppermint oil, tocopheryl acetate, propylparaben, sweet almond oil, macadamia ternifolia seed oil, tocopherol, soybean oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, isobornyl acetate, bisabolol, phenoxythanol, wheat bran extract, matricaria flower extract, fucus vesticulosus extract, calendula officianalis flower extract, BHT (preservative), linoleic acid, limonene, and linalool. As you can see, there are quite a few ingredients, and if I had known about them prior to choosing this item, I may not have chosen to try this. I did find some good uses for it though, luckily.
Before I tell you the things we tried with it, I want to first warn you that unfortunately the balm has oils in it which are not safe for use with latex condoms. My husband and me are fluid bonded with each other, however, oil based lubricants and balms can be difficult for the body to naturally clean out, so we don’t like to use them internally. Therefore, we personally opted to use these only on his penis, and in conjunction with my mouth or his toys.
Now, on to the sex-tivities! The first thing I did was to put this on my lips. I’d tried a mentholated lip gloss which was designed for oral sex before, and I also wanted to see how much I needed to make my lips tingle before I tried it on Master’s cock. I found that I needed more than I thought, but it was still a small amount. Remember to add a little bit at a time, because you can always add more, but you can’t take it away as easily. I noticed that on my lips it felt mentholated, but I didn’t feel any numbing or anything unpleasant.
When Master sat in front of me, I started sucking on his dick. I asked him if he noticed anything on my lips and he said he didn’t. We kept going for a while, and after a bit, I applied a little bit of the balm to the shaft his cock. He didn’t notice it. I reapplied again, but this time to the head of his cock. He said he didn’t notice much, at first, but after a little bit, he felt a cooling sensation. He also told me, that he couldn’t feel my lips or fingers very well on the place the balm was applied. So, keep that in mind before you put too much on. It may or may not make you feel a bit numb. We noticed that it did take a bit longer for Master to come using this balm, but that is what it was designed for. After the play he washed up in the shower, and the feeling came back to his cock rather quickly.
One thing I personally noticed, when using the balm and giving Master head, is that the Rocket Balm got pushed into my mouth and throat somewhat, and I noticed parts of my throat being numbed a bit. It didn’t hurt, it felt as though someone had used a couple drops of chloroseptic spray on my throat. You remember that stuff that you use when you have a sore throat? Master suggested, that if someone has a gag reflex that causes problems when they are giving oral that this balm may help with that. If you don’t mind the taste that is. This tastes minty and for me was not a problem. If you don’t like mint, this may not be your best bet.
Clean up is pretty easy. You can wash this off in the shower with soap, and it glides on clear so it doesn’t leave any stains on our sheets either. We opted to use a Liberator Throe though, and just tossed it into the wash when we were done to be sure.
This balm is going to last a while, and for only $6 is a good little treat for that special guy in your life who enjoys cooling sensations and being able to hold out longer. It’s even small enough to fit in a stocking. And hey, if he doesn’t like it, you can always take it back and use it as a lip balm. I find that it left my lips minty and soft.
4 Paws for Rocket BalmThank you so much, Babeland, for allowing me to try out Rocket Balm in exchange for a fair and honest review.
