Another Babydoll

Become a goddess wearing sexy and erotic lingerie from EdenFantasys

I know it’s another babydoll, but come on!  It’s red, and has bows all over it!  And!  And!  And, it’s by Coquette, which is one of my favorite lingerie manufacturers.  I have had mainly good luck with Coquette in the past.  While I didn’t see this one as necessarily being lingerie, I thought it would be a cute addition to my “summer porch wear”, in which I wear lots of skimpy things which cover my bum and tits and not much else.  I was pretty much right.

Another Cute Coquette Babydoll

This particular babydoll from Coquette is the Bow Mesh and Lycra Babydoll with Padded Gathered Mesh Bust.  It is made of 82% nylon, and 18% spandex.  The size I got is the large.  The material is completely see-through,even though it looks opaque in the picture.  The only part which you can’t see through is the bust, which is lined with opaque fabric.  If you don’t mind the sheerness of this, you could always wear this out on the town over a pair of jeans or a cute skirt.  I’ve worn this with jeans outside the house a couple of times, and I think it looks really cute.

The babydoll also comes with shoulder straps, which are removable.  I really am glad it comes with straps, but I have to admit that these particular straps are really poorly made, and I don’t usually have problems with Coquette straps.  They are fine for the most part, but every now and then I will find that they slip somewhat off of my shoulders, and as I go to put them back up – that’s when they snap.  The removable part of the strap is a bit too removable, if you know what I mean.  They pull right out of the slot that they slide into, and since they are slightly stretchy they can really sting as they hit your skin.  Not fun.  Plus, if it happens in public, it’s just embarrassing.

The bust of the dress is comfortable on my 34D breasts, and I think you might be able to fit up to a 36DD, but I wouldn’t go higher than that.  Any smaller than a 34D would probably be a bit too small, since the cups fit me pretty much perfectly.  Unfortunately, neither the straps of the top, nor the bust section itself offer much in the way of support.  I find that, for me, even though my breasts are fairly perky, I still need the straps in order to keep the top up.  It is stretchy and has a tendency to slip a bit.

The Top From The Back

It is much easier to see the sheerness of the top from the back.  You can definitely see my panties straight through this, so that’s definitely something to think about if you wanted to wear this as a top.  Since I usually wear this with jeans when I leave the house, I wasn’t too worried because you only see some of my tummy, which I don’t mind.

It is also much easier to see the black elastic band that runs under the bust and around to the back from the back.  The elastic does cling to your body, but it doesn’t offer any kind of support.  The rest of the top from under this is very loose and free-size.

Overall length of the garment from middle of cups to bottom:  21″

Bust (unstretched): 15″

Underbust: 14″

Waist and Hip: Freesize (To give you a slightly better about about this, I have a 33 waist, and a 40 hip, and the waist and hip are both huge on me.)

A lot of people don’t like Coquette simply because they happen to use a lot of bows, and this garment is no exception.  It does have a large (but I think, tasteful) black bow on the front of it.  The good news is that if you’re not a fan of bows, this is easily removed, as it is safety pinned to the garment.  To bow, or not to bow?  It’s up to you!

Close Up Of Fabric. Fabric Is Much Darker In Person.

My camera has a hard time capturing reds, especially close up, so the above picture looks a little brighter than the babydoll really is, but I’m hoping that it gives you a good idea of what the little bows look like up close.

My only other complaint about the garment is that there’s a tag right where my left arm pit is, and it’s itchy and uncomfortable.  I had to cut it out, but I don’t think that’s a huge deal, as you’ll know how to take care of this one just by holding it in your hands, and wearing it.

While this babydoll isn’t delicate, per se, it is made of mesh, and I never put mesh anywhere near a dryer.  To wash this, I recommend using a lingerie bag, and washing this one the gentle cycle in your washer.  Hang or lay flat to dry.  It’s probably best to remove the shoulder straps before washing this one, because they’re going to come off in the wash anyway.  I just tuck them into the lingerie bag with the rest of the garment with no issue.

Overall, this is a really cute top, and I like it a lot.  I tend to wear it most out on the porch in the summer, with some opaque panties.  The mesh fabric is soft and flowy, and very airy, so it helps keep me cool.  Plus, the bust is opaque so the neighbors won’t see anything inappropriate.  I’m deducting a paw for the tag and the shoulder straps though.  4 Paws:Please use the code G5U at checkout to get 15% off of any order on EdenFantasys!
