Hi everyone!
To be honest, I've always been really bad at intro posts or profile pages. It's hard to sum up what this journal is going to be about in a few small words. It's something we're going to have to get through together though, so if this is boring as hell, you've been warned.
For starters, I'm a 20-something female who lives in Colorado with her husband, who is also her Master. We have a BDSM dynamic, and this is something we've lived for quite a while now. We are both happy and everything we do is between two consenting individuals. I *choose* to play this role, but it is a role we play more often then most. Take that as you will, but know that there will be many many allusions to this role in my blog.
Aside from being in a 24/7 BDSM lifestyle, we have also been married now for just over a year. It was a lovely ceremony out on our lawn on a warm day in september. It is where I got my collar, and it has only come off a couple times for x-rays since then. I hate to take it off at all, but safety first.
The collar has an allen screw which prevents me from taking it off myself, not that I'd want to. Most people who see it just think that it's a nice piece of jewelry. They have no idea how symbolic it is for us.
Personally, I have many hobbies outside of BDSM. I love video games, and I often play my Xbox 360 or Wii. I also LOVE to create things, so you'll often catch me at Master's feet crocheting a blanket, or maybe sewing something. I collect plushies. I love snail mail. I LOVE mangas, but am on the fence about anime in general.
This past year I became vegan, which means I don't eat any meat, dairy, eggs, or fish. I am NOT the type of vegan who pushes this on other people. To be completely honest with you, weather or not YOU eat meat, dairy, eggs, or fish is of no real interest to me. I'm just trying to change myself, not the world. I mention this only because being vegan may come up in my blog here or there. When I find a new recipe I love, or a product I never thought I would. It will never be mentioned in a bid to try to get you to convert to veganism. However, if my being vegan is going to offend you anyway, despite the afformentioned steps, then you'll probably want to go elsewhere.
I work. I am an adult entertainer for www.imlive.com, and I love it. I've been working with them on and off for quite a while now, and I am a veteran entertainer. That means I get a higher percent then most people just starting out, AND a ribbon on my page.
I've been doing mainly adult entertaining for a while now, although I've had many jobs before it, and I've also had many jobs at the same time. Right now, my working entirely from home is really working out for us. I get the chores done, and other menial tasks that Master wants me to accomplish, and after that is done, I work until it is time to cook dinner, and then I wait for him to come home so I can serve it. I truly love my work, and I also love the flexibility of it. I work when I want to work, and nobody says anything to me if I show up late.
Again, if my being an adult entertainer offends you, you will probably want to go elsewhere now.
There's one last thing that will likely be a reccurring theme in this blog, and that is www.zerodayproject.com. This is a website which my friend Jessie Beth inspired me to join. Just to say it, the fact that I joined a couple days after January is just a coincidence. I don't believe in New Year's Resolutions. If they work for YOU, that's great. To be honest though, I've never seen anyone actually accomplish one of these things. My mother ALWAYS decides this is the year she is going to quit smoking, Master's mom always decides she is going to eat healthy and lose weight, and many more of my friends and family make similar resolutions. None of them have ever followed through. If you're going to
wait until a certain day to start, you're probably not ready to go through with your goal anyway. Something that my friends will all tell you about me is that I am VERY goal oriented, and if you tell me to get something done, or if I decide it must be done, then I do it. I don't wait to start until monday, or the New Year, or any of that nonsense. I make steps to get there TODAY.
Zero Day Project is a website which you can put a list of 101 things you want to accomplish in 1000 days. I think this is a cool idea. About a year and a half ago Master had me make a list of 100 things I wanted to buy, see, do, or accomplish, and we never put a time limit on it. I recently went back through it after seeing Jessie Beth's list, and I had accomplished more than a third of the things! I decided to put the rest of the things online, and add some more things in to finish out the list. One of the things I put on the list was "Make a public blog." I did this partly because I thought it would be fun to document the things that I accomplish with pictures and words, and also because I have been wanting to share my journey with Master in an easier way than I have been. I currently have a vlog on youtube which I will continue, but there are a lot of topics which I can't talk about on youtube due to their rules. At any rate, I am going to be posting pictures of the things I accomplish as I accomplish them, with a few words to explain how I
went about getting it done. So far I have four things done, and I plan to post about them in my next entry.
So, that's the very basics about me. ^^ I hope that I haven't bored you to tears and I look forward to getting to put some more interesting things in here soon.
Mew!
