Completed item #56 on my day zero list. :)

Item #56 was to go to the mail center every day for one week.  It’s not really very close to our house.  It’s not far, but it takes about ten minutes to walk it each way.  I thought this would be a fun little goal because it would give me a reason to leave the house and take a walk outside.  I had fun, but I don’t think it is something I’m going to turn into a habit.  My only real complaint with it was that I had to wait to start dinner until we got home, which meant we ate kind of late most days.  I got it done though, so that’s 7% of my goals done, and 989 days left to complete the rest.  ^^

Master had surgery yesterday, and right now he is resting comfortably in bed.  I am taking care of him, of course, but he isn’t supposed to even be getting off the couch unless he has to pee.  Not to mention, we forgot to get dish detergent which means I am washing all the dishes by hand.  Needless to say I am exhausted, and looking forward to having detergent and Master being able to stand.  Don’t get me wrong.  I’m happy to help him, it’s just tiring doing all the chores plus helping him right now.  Usually he is able to walk around, and tends to cook on the weekend.

During the week, I work – so that means that I tend to do more chores and act more “slave” than “kitty”.  On the weekend, usually Master cooks and he generally ties me into place here or there in the house.  Having the “slave” role spill into the weekend “kitty” role is just hard to adapt to.  I think I’m doing a good job of it though. 🙂 I’m not going to wake him up for the moment though.  I’m letting him sleep as long as he likes, so I guess I have a bit of time to myself.

Mew! ^^

    1. Thanks sweets. And sorry I lied at first and said it was the dentist. He didn't want me to tell anyone what he had done, but then at the doctor's office he decided to tweet it! lol. Go fig. 😉
