Yesterday, I got one more thing accomplished on my DayZeroProject.com list!  I finally got around to re-organizing the bookshelf. 🙂  It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while, and while it’s not perfect, it’s good enough for me.  Basically I just wanted to get the books which were sitting on top of other books to have a home on the shelf in a more organized way, and to make sure that any extraneous books were purged.  Here’s a picture of the shelf in all of its newly organized glory.

Yeah, those are my guitar hero guitars.  I haven’t had the heart to purge them yet.  I know it’s an item on my list, and I’ll get to it soon, I swear..  *ahem*  And yes that’s a peekaboo dance pole.  Not the best dance pole, but I can’t install a real one here.  Maybe someday, when my wrist is all healed up.  According to my list, I’ve now got 13% of things done, with 975 days left.

All organized!

It’s not even noontime, and already we’ve got a lot accomplished.  One of the things I’ve been sorely needing for my work room is a new futon.  The futon I had used before was unfortunately left behind when we moved here.  It was really old though and had been through a lot of moves.  So, at the moment I’ve been piling blankets up on the floor and working from the ground.  Not the most comfortable thing for your back, but I’ve been making do.  Today we’re going to Target, and I’m going to get the last thing I need for that room, a storage cube to keep all the things that won’t hang on hangers like bras and underwear in.  Once we get the futon set up, that will be the first room we got completely furnished and hung up.  Woot!  We’re on our way.  I soo can’t wait to finish buying the furniture we need so we can focus more on buying a car.  Little by little, I know.

Sleepy Samantha

Anyway, right now we’re heading out to get a few more things for the house and a couple of groceries.    Oh!  And Master said I needed a picture of Samantha (my kitty!) in here, so I took one the other day.  Isn’t she adorable?

    1. Thank you! And yes, I *LOVE* Stargate. All series, but I was really annoyed when they cut Universe in the middle and we won't see more till April. lol. ^^

  1. Glad to see you are feeling better. Gotta admit though, after the month I've had, I kind of envy your week of rest on the couch 😉

Was kind of annoyed how they left the cliffhanger with Universe too, but that's how Sci-Fi (I am not calling it SyFy dang it!) does its shows, part in the fall, part in the spring/summer. Can be annoying, but at least there is always something to watch 🙂

    1. See, thing is, I don't remember them doing this with any of the past seasons. Weird. Maybe I somehow missed that? And yes, I think SyFy is REALLY REALLY stupid!!!

      1. Oh yeah, they've had this scheduling plan since the days of Farscape back in the late 90s. That way they have new shows in the summer when everyone else in reruns (The Summer of Sci-fi). USA has similar scheduling too.

        1. I'm in the USA. 😉 Where are you located? Hmm, I just think that it is weird that I have no recollection of this whatever. Ah well. Not like remembering it is going to make it come back sooner. lol.

          1. LOL No, I meant the USA network, all their shows (Burn Notice, White Collar, Monk, etc.). I leave in South Carolina 😉
