Technology, can’t live with it, and you can’t live without it.

Ah, technology.  When we lose power, I curl up into a ball and have no clue what to do with myself.  Should I go online?  Wait, you need power for that.  Maybe I should play some video games. Oh right, you need power for that too..  Hmmm.  🙂

Yesterday I had some trouble with my microphone and I couldn’t work online because of it.  This morning, I get all ready to get online, and guess what?  Imlive has announced that they apologise, but they are having technical issues.  This usually means that they are upgrading something or installing a new feature..  But it also means that it isn’t worth my while to be online.  Lame.  I was looking forward to working.  This is also my last paycheck before my wisdom teeth come out, and all this not working isn’t going to help.  Oh, well.  What can you do?

I guess I’ll just make sure the house is spicker than span, and who knows, maybe I’ll even take a walk.  It’s beautiful outside today, even if it is snowy.  I can sit around and stare at the computer and be angry that technology doesn’t seem to be going my way..  Or, I can just take advantage of one more day off and try to make the floors shine.  I think I’ll go with option two.

  1. That’s strange that they would do an upgrade or installation in the middle of the day. You’d think it would make more since to do it on the weekend or at night. Then again, since they aren’t a typical 9-5 company, that may be when the peak hours are and right now is the best time to do it.

    1. Yeah, they never warn us or anything, and they won't admit that there's an upgrade or new anything going it – but I've been working and playing on there since I was legal, so I know what they're doing. I bet anything that within the next day or two they announce some new feature. Gotta love it.
