Anal silk? I thought it was called anal *nectar*. Wait what? Oh, we’re talking about a new toy here, the Tantus Silk Anal Dildo!
Silk is a beautiful little dildo which is intended for anal use. This toy isn’t made to stay in this is not a plug – it’s a dildo. That means it is meant for thrusting and in and out movements. The one I got was the medium size, at 5.5″ X 1.1/4″ , the medium comes in black. You can also get this toy in small, which comes in pink, and large, which is available in lavender. Silk is made beautifully from 100% silicone, which means you can completely sterilize it if you want to share, or use it in your vagina as well. Boil it, use a 10% bleach solution, soap and water, or even toy cleaner. This toy is not compatible with silicone lubes. Please make sure to use water based lubricant with your new Silk so as not to degrade the lovely material.
The Silk arrived to me in a lovely see through box, which is similar to other boxes I’ve seen from Tantus. Immediately out of the package, the toy had a slight smell, but that went away with the first washing. Silk is phthalates free.
I did not use this toy vaginally, as I intend to use it anally, but you can use it for both with proper washing or a condom. I have to say, I do not consider myself to be new to anal, but I’m still taking small to medium sized toys and I have a hard time taking a penis back there. The Silk was amazing though. In general, I tend to only like anal plugs or beads, because they are small, and it is hard for me to get used to the idea of “thrusting” back there. The smoothness of this toy really let me explore with the sensation though, and it felt really good.
I did misjudge the size of the toy however, and it took me quite a while to warm up to be able to accept this toy. It sounds small, but it is pretty wide for someone on the beginner-ish end of things. I really love it though, and I highly recommend it to anyone who would like an anal toy that doesn’t stay put. The Silk was amazingly smooth! There are no seams anywhere on the toy to interrupt your fun, aside from a small “Tantus” stamp on the base. You will not be able to feel the stamp when you’re playing with the toy though, thankfully.
All in all, the Silk by Tantus is getting 5 paws, I wouldn’t expect any less from Tantus or Babeland.
Thank you Babeland, for giving me the chance to try out this toy in exchange for an honest and fair review!
