The (AFF) Ophoria Bliss #2 is a gorgeous, well made, girthy vibe which the wonderful people over at Fascinations gave me to test out. I was intrigued when I first saw it. It is a very interesting design, with a sort of “split” in the head of the toy. The overall length of the toy is 8.25″ with an insertable length of 7″. The circumference of the widest part of the toy is 5.25″, so it is very girthy. The one I received is a lovely pale lilac color. Just beautiful.
When I first unpacked the toy from its box, I wasn’t sure what to think. It is a lot larger than I had thought it would be. Master picked it up, turned it sideways and said “Hey! It looks like a baby beluga whale almost, doesn’t it?” To me, the head of the toy almost looks like Audrey 2 from Little Shop of Horrors. Yeah, I must be pretty odd to look at a sex toy and think of a horror, but that’s me for ya.
Here is a view of the entire toy. It is made from silicone and has a hard plastic base. Since the toy is made from silicone, please do not use silicone lubricants with it because they will degrade the material of the toy. You can turn your toy on by pressing a button on the bottom. I really loved this. Simply press and hold for a few seconds, and your toy starts up and will give you a straight, low buzz. You will actually hear the button click. Press the button again, and the vibrations get a bit stronger, but stay steady. Press it again, and the toy will stay steady, and vibrate at its strongest setting. Click the button again and the toy will go to a series of fast pulses. One last click will do a series of fast pulses followed by a pause, then it will repeat the pattern. Hold the button down for a couple of seconds, and the toy will turn off.
I really love this toy! I had difficulty using it my first time though. Since the toy is so girthy, I find personally that it is a bit uncomfortable if you insert it without being very warmed up already. Even when I used lube, I found the toy to just be too uncomfortable. It made me a bit nervous to try it again, but I am so glad I did. When I was properly warmed up and ready to go, I found that the toy felt really great! What wound up happening is that, as the toy is inserted, it didn’t get past the head (for me). The head of the Ophoria Bliss #2 is very flexible though, and can move quite a bit with moderate pressure. I found that if I inserted the toy vaginally, I could aim the head in a way that it would hit my g-spot! The vibrations are not very strong, about a 3 out of 5 on its highest setting, but they are pretty deeply felt, and I cannot say enough about this toy!
Clitorally, this toy didn’t work so well for me. I prefer really strong vibrations on my clit, and this toy just doesn’t deliver that. It is also not for anal pleasure, as there is no flared base. G-spot hunters, and lovers of vaginal stimulation in general, will LOVE this toy.
When it comes to cleaning, you can use a 10% bleach solution, soap and water, or a toy cleaner. The Ophoria Bliss #2 is splash proof, so you can bring it in the shower with you – and you don’t have to worry too much while you’re cleaning it. It runs on just two AA batteries, which you can insert into the bottom of the toy by unscrewing the black base.
All in all, I really love this toy, and I’m giving it 5 Paws:
Thank you so much, Fascinations, for giving me the chance to try out this toy in exchange for an honest and fair review. 🙂
