Fairy Rechargable Wand

Fairy Pocket Mini USB

As a girl who is always looking for more rechargeable toys, I turned to MyPleasure, and they came through for me. (As they always do).  The toy I was lucky enough to try out this time was the Fairy Pocket Mini USB.  This cool little vibrator is small enough to fit comfortably in your hand (or pocket) and travel with you nearly everywhere.  It even comes with its own recharging cable, so you can charge it up on your lap top while you surf the web.  Cool, huh?  Unfortunately, this toy didn’t quite live up to the massive expectations I had for it.  I’ve never owned a Fairy product before, but I had heard so many good things about them.  I was hoping that this would be a real hit.

The Box

The box this comes in is very pink and pretty, and feminine.  It is covered in Japanese writing except for the words “Fairy Pocked Mini For Women’s”.  So, you’re not likely to be able to read the box unless you know some Japanese.  Fear not!  The toy is simple enough to figure out without reading the instructions.

Your new miniature vibrator is actually only 5 3/4″ X 1″, so yes, this is a tiny little thing.  It has a super powerful motor (11,000 RPMs) so even on low, you are going to feel this toy.  The toy is supposed to come fully charged, so when it arrived I took it out of the packaging, and turned it on the lowest setting to see how long it would last.  It was supposed to last for over seventy minutes of use, but mine gave out after thirty.  I decided to plug it into the computer and see how long it took to charge.  It’s supposed to take ninety minutes.

Recharging is simple, but can only be done via USB.  Simply plug the toy into your computer or laptop, and a blue light will come on.  You will know your toy is done recharging when the blue light turns off.  For me, that was  a little over two hours.  The second time I charged this, it lasted for fourty minutes

Whether on high or low, the Fairy Pocket Mini USB will give you very high-pitched vibrations.  I found them to be a bit uncomfortable unless I put some pressure on the vibe to make them feel a little less high pitched.  One thing I loved about this toy?  MyPleasure has their logo on the back!  How cool is that?

The head of the Fairy Pocket Mini USB is made of a soft yet sturdy silicone, and the neck is flexible!  When you add pressure you can angle this slightly to hit just the right spot.  The rest of the toy is made from hard ABS plastic, so it is rigid and completely inflexible.  To turn your toy on, just push the button on the side.  Simple.

Cleaning your toy is pretty easy too.  You can use soap and water, a 10% bleach solution, or a toy cleaner.  Just be careful not to let any water or chemicals get into the USB port on the side of the toy.  Silicone and ABS plastic are not porous, so if you want you could share this between partners if you clean it properly.  You could also use a condom, but due to the small side of the toy, I think this would be very awkward.

Close Up Of Strap

When it came down to it, the quality of vibrations from this toy just didn’t really do it for me.  That, coupled with the fact that the toy doesn’t stay charged for all that long really detracted from the allure of this toy for me.  It is always wonderful to see a toy which doesn’t require batteries, but that is really the only thing about this toy that I like.  Overall, if you like thinner, buzzier vibrations, and don’t need a lot of time to get off, this could be your toy.  It is also discreet enough to hide nearly anywhere, so it would be perfect for travel if it worked for you.  I’m giving it three paws:

Thank you so much, MyPleasure, for allowing me to review this toy in exchange for an honest and fair review.

  1. In general, the fairies are much higher pitched than say a Hitachi or Wahl. The fairy mini mini (listed on our site as just fairy mini) is a little lower pitched and much stronger than the Pocket Mini, but that’s kind of what happens when you have a vibe that uses 6 AA batteries vs. one that charges via USB.

  2. Where did you find the details about the head being silicone and the RPMs of the motor? EdenFantasys just said it was plastic so I assumed the head was plastic. Also perhaps yours has an issue with the battery, min seems to last well more than 30 minutes, but I haven’t used it for that long straight. I just use mine as a back massager as it’s too strong and too high pitched for me, but it works great to relax knots.
