Vibrators are a staple to anyone’s collection, and even the most basic vibrators can have their uses. The Blueberry Buzz is an example of a vibrator which is basic in design, but which works very well. The smooth curves, hard ABS plastic, and easy to control vibrations make this a great choice for anyone who wants a vibrator with extra function.
The toy arrives in a simple clamshell case, which is sturdy enough to last you a while, but which you will likely just toss aside. The Blueberry Buzz is sturdy, and doesn’t need much coddling when it comes to storage.
As you can see, the toy itself is a lovely shade of blue, though it appears a bit brighter in my picture than it is in person. It is a darker blue, but still very pretty. The toy is see-through, so depending on which way you have it facing, you can see the batteries (two AA, not included) and the motor.
The Blueberry Buzz has a simple turn-dial on the bottom. The vibrations go from about a one to about a three and are more buzzy than rumbly. I’m more of a “rumbly” girl myself usually, but the amount of buzz this toy has isn’t too obnoxious, and didn’t numb me at all.
While the toy is not exactly a size queen toy (with one inch of girth), it feels really nice externally. If you prefer a slimmer toy, I find that the smooth texture at the toy’s tip made for lots of internal fun. I enjoyed rolling the toy around the outside of my uterus, and the slim nature of the toy really allows for that sort of maneuverability. You wouldn’t be able to do that with a bigger toy. A lot of women do not like their uterus played with, so if that’s you, just know that you needn’t play like that to enjoy the toy.
The tip of the Blueberry Buzz reminds me of a baby’s bottle. If you’re into age play, you could incorporate that into a humiliation scene with great results.
The biggest criticism I have seen of the Blueberry Buzz is the noise it makes in use. This is definitely not a silent toy, however, if you’re using it behind closed doors, with a sheet over you, no one can hear it outside. Master and me tested it by putting the toy under a thin sheet, closing the dungeon door and listening. We couldn’t hear it. However, if you need something that will be quiet while you’re in the same room as someone else, then you will probably find the toy to be too loud for you.
The toy is made from ABS plastic, and is easy to clean. You can use soap and water, a toy cleaner, or a 10% bleach solution. The toy is also compatible with all types of lubes.
The toy claims to be waterproof. I did not even try to submerge it though, and the reason why has to do with the turn-dial base. I have tried many toys in the past which claim to be waterproof, but then water always manages to get inside when you are turning the vibrations up or down. I think that this toy is safe to call “Splash Proof.” That is, I’d wash this without worry, and you could probably use it in the shower with good result, but, I would not submerge it under water in a bath tub or spa.
While I don’t think this toy is an absolute “everyone must own this!” toy, I do think that a nice simple straight vibrator is a good staple for every toy box, and if you don’t have one like this, this is a great one to go with. I’m giving it 5 paws:
Thank you Babeland, for allowing me the opportunity to try out the Blueberry Buzz in exchange for an honest and fair review.
