Easter

Easter Basket

This past Sunday was Easter, and it started off well enough.  I woke up and crawled into the front room to find that the Easter bunny had left me a Halloween bucket full of treats.  I’m guessing the Easter bunny couldn’t find my Easter basket either.  Master and me have been looking around for it, but we’re still not really unpacked at all.  I got a chocolate bunny, and two Cadbury Creme Eggs.

I got dressed in one of my fancier dresses and Master and me had breakfast and relaxed a little bit.  After a couple of hours, I started getting a headache, so I laid down.  Amazingly, the headache went away as long as I laid down, but if I stood up or sat up it was horrible.  I’ve had migraines in the past, but this wasn’t like that.  Unfortunately, due to the mega headache, I spend almost the entire day on the couch watching movies with Master.  (Like I said, if I laid down, I had no problems.  It was a very odd sort of headache.)

Later that day, when we were going to play, Master decided against it.  I was bummed because I’m not the type who uses the old “I’ve got a headache,” excuse to not have sex.  I like having sex.  A LOT.  I’m not about to “weasel” out of it.  (Not that everyone with a headache is trying to weasel out of sex.  It’s just a common stereotype.)  I didn’t want us to not play because of something silly as a headache.  Besides, I’d read reports of headaches being helped by orgasms.  Either way, Master decided that we’d have to wait until later.  His reasoning is always sound, but it still sucks to be the reason why you’re not having fun.  He told me he didn’t want to have playtime with me unless I was feeling alert and well, because to him it’s too risky to do the sort of play we do with either participant being sick.  True enough, but it’s been a while since he didn’t want to play for those reasons.  Admittedly, while I get injured a lot, I don’t get sick a lot, so it makes sense.

The rest of the night was more laying down, but at least my headache went away the next day.  Easter for us was definitely not as exciting as usual.  No egg hunt because I can’t crawl really well right now, and no play time either.  Oh well, I’m sure we’ll probably do an egg hunt next year, and luckily, it doesn’t have to be Easter to get some play in.
