To Infinity, And Beyond!

How adorable is this?  Seeing this little rocket ship on Good Vibes made me think back to that sweet little Martian I had the chance to review a while back.  Remember Marvin?  Well, I actually wanted to try out this Retro Pocket Rocket Waterproof Vibrator  because I thought it would be an adorable novelty piece.  I didn’t expect it to perform at all as a sex toy.  I thought it would likely be like like Marvin, OK – fun, but overall too weak to really make the toy a winner.  When Master saw the toy, he admits that he giggled too, and was eager to try it out.

The toy is made from ABS plastic and looks adorably just like a little rocket ship.  If you have small children, you will probably want to hide this away so that Junior doesn’t think it is one of his toys!  In the same vein, if you enjoy age play, this would definitely be a fun piece to bring into your play sessions.  No one who sees this out on a desk or shelf will have any clue what it is at all.  It is incredibly discreet.  Not only does it not look like a vibrator, but it even has a little lunar landing pad that the base of the toy sits in.  This toy is cute to the extreme.

The vibe is waterproof!  But, there are conditions.  If the toy isn’t in the “on” position, the packaging says it isn’t waterproof, so make sure you turn it on before you get in the tub or shower.  This is just a preference of mine, but I like to put it on when I’m washing it too.  Sure, it’ll use the battery up (you could remove it before you clean it), but it’s better to turn it on if you’re going to submerge it or put it under a running tap.  Then, you can scrub to your heart’s content without worry.  How do you clean ABS plastic?  You can use a 10% bleach solution, a toy cleaner, or plain ‘ol soap and water.  Give the toy a good scrub and pay extra attention to the place where the rocket breaks away from the battery compartment.  The rocket is easy to clean, but does require a bit of scrubbing due to the little dots and nubs on it.  You could put a condom over the toy to make clean up even easier.  The toy is compatible with any type of lube.

I have not tried the rocket internally, but I think you could use it for shallow penetration.  If you choose to use the toy for anal play, be absolutely certain to use a condom on it so that the grooves are a lot easier to clean.  The “tails” of the rocket should prevent the toy from slipping in during play.

As for Master and me?  We have had a lot of fun with this toy, and in fact, it’s one of our favorites to use together.  As I mentioned in the beginning of the review, I wasn’t sure this would be anything special, but decided to take a gamble on it because it has so much nerd cred.  The toy is very powerful for only needing one AA battery.  It is about a 3.5 in intensity (out of five), and is more than powerful enough to get the job done right each time.  I mainly use the toy for clitoral stimulation, but you could always use it on nipples, perineum, balls, and other sensual places.  It isn’t the best during actual sex though, because Master and me find its 5″ in length to be a bit long to use comfortably.  It is best used for teasing, foreplay, and external fun.
