Absolute Silly

I’ve been working on pole dancing for a long time.  (On and off, for example, we had no place to work on it at all in our last apartment.  There’s just more space here).  I’ll never be amazing, and I don’t give any fucks.  I just think it’s fun and I wanna learn to do it.  I’ve found a couple of really good pole tutorials on YouTube, and I’ve been working on my arm strength so that I can climb up the pole.  There’s not a Hell of a lot you can do until you can actually get to the top.  Well, you can do floor stuff..  But I can already do floor stuff.  Anyway, I’ve managed to get on the pole and hang there for one or two seconds, but no climbing yet for me.  No rush.  Good things come to those who wait.  Plus, strength develops over time, not over night.

I was so excited last week to show Master that I managed to get to the point where I can hang on the pole for a second (that’s progress, you know!), and when I came down a second later, a fit of sheer and utter silliness overtook us both!  Somehow or another, I was on Master’s shoulders (like I used to do with my Dad when I was “Little Kitty”), and he was helping me climb my way to the top!  Woo!  It was sure cool being up there.  I predict it will be a while before I get my bum up there again.

And, of course, while I was up there, Master decided that he wanted to take a picture.  This was the second picture we took because the first one came out super duper blurry.  Kind of awesome.  I just love, love, love how silly and fun Master is! <3

    1. @Lexi I don’t have a professional pole. The one I have is a Peekaboo Dance pole, but I’ve never had it come out from under my 150 pound body. The package says not to put your full weight on it, so I wouldn’t recommend other people do that, but in my experience, the pole hasn’t come out from under Master’s weight either, and he is over 200. So, if you’re looking to buy a pole, I’d probably recommend another brand, but, between you and me (and the rest of whoever reads this) I see no real reason to buy another pole until I get to the point that this one doesn’t support my weight for whatever tricks I’m trying to do.
