Tea Time!

Master and me actually live reasonably close to a tea factory, and on Sunday we decided to go there with S. We were really excited! When we got there, there was an entire tea room for tasting as many teas as you wanted. I got to taste all sorts of teas: pumpkin, lemon ginger, black teas, green teas! NOM! <3

They made us wear hairnets, and every time Master looked at me, he kept laughing, mainly (I think) because I had put my hairnet on over my ears. He he. Well, what was I gonna do? I guess I could have taken them off, but I had no pockets. πŸ˜‰

You weren’t allowed to take pictures in the factory, which is a shame because I really wanted a picture of the “Tea Bagging” sign. Oh well. πŸ˜‰ Can’t win them all. I love tea so much, so going to the tea factory was just soo amazing. Master even got me a “bath tea” tea bag while we were there for me to relax with later.

It’s this super giant tea bag, and you boil it on the stove, and then add the water to the bath. When we got home, Master boiled it for me, because he said kitties could get hurt doing it. The smell in the entire house was just amazing. He got me a sage and lime one, but it took him a long time to pick the right bag. =^^=

Yep, the water is supposed to be green. That’s the herbs. No, it isn’t dirty water. <3

Actually, on the day we went to the tea place, I had gotten ballsy yet again, and I managed to go driving again! I went to the Whole Foods again, and Master bought me a sliced bread bowl, since bread is one of the few things I am allowed to eat for now. I mostly ate it with dinner, which was nice. The most important part to me is that my confidence with driving is getting better. As I’ve mentioned before, I used to actually live in Boston, and people actually drive way worse here than they do there. Honestly, no one ever uses signals here, and it drives me batshit. Drivers are so ballsy and awful around here, and that is one of the absolute worse things for me when getting my driving confidence back – dealing with other people on the road. I have no clue what they are going to do or when (they cut me off, don’t use signals, stop short, etc), and I seriously just can’t figure out how to maneuver around them sometimes. :/ Still, this is the third time I managed to go out driving, and I am really proud of how well I am doing. I still don’t feel ready to drive on the highway or anything, but at least I’m getting used to things on the back roads. I can do this. Not just because Master wants me to, but because I need to. I will not be afraid of driving forever.

    1. @Vanille Aww, thanks! <3 I hope you do get to go to the tea factory! ‘Course if you wind up in my neck of the woods, you should hollar at me. πŸ™‚ Master and me would love to take you to tea! =^^=

  2. Yay! The whole excursion sounds like so muh fun. And now I want a tea bath :3 I’m glad you’re increasing your confidence on the road! Soon you’ll be a NASCAR driver.

    1. @Elle LOL! NASCAR, huh? πŸ˜‰ Hmm, I’d be satasfied with a pair of roller blades. LOL! But seriously, I really do hope I get comfy driving soon. I hate this being an issue for me. And if you ever happen upon some bath tea, I highly recommend it! It makes the entire house smell wonderful. Relaxing for both Master and me, even if he’s not in the tub.
