FIRST SNOW 2013!!

Squee!! It’s the first snow of the year! Admittedly, this is a bit early for snow, but it is still beautiful. <3 We only got about a half inch, but here is hoping there is more to come! People are always asking me why I like snow so much. Well, Master Pravus gets days off from work if it snows enough, and who doesn’t like extra time with their Master? It’s also so fun to play in, twirl in, romp around in, and then go back inside and have a hot bath and a snuggle with Master!
Plus, Master’s body temperature is always hotter than your average person, so he doesn’t really like to snuggle much unless he is cold.. And it takes a lot to make him cold. =^^= Leaving behind paw prints in the snow, the crunch, crunch, crunch of your boots in the snow, the beauty of it stacked up on buildings and trees! I don’t understand why people don’t like snow!
Well, maybe I do. I admit that, while I do love snow a lot, I do not like to drive in it, or when Master Pravus has to drive in it. Snow can be dangerous and slippery, and has downsides too, but I think the good outweighs the bad. The last time we moved, we had a freak (not predicted) snow storm, and it was really difficult carrying boxes up icy steps. Hopefully that doesn’t happen to us this year.
::Twirls a bit:: For now, I’ll just enjoy it while it is here, and not worry about something a few weeks down the road. <3
Mew!

Wow, it was 95 degrees today
here in SoCal. Crazy!
I love snow too, and I agree, playing in it is waaaaay more fun than doing day-to-day stuff in it.
@John Decker Wow, 95*.. Yeah, I do not like the heat once it gets above 80*. I do not envy you. At least with the snow I can snuggle down in blankies. 🙂
It looks beautiful. I do love the snow, but owning a house, I also kind of hate it. We have an acre of land and our main driveway is 100 feet long! Even with a snow blower (if the damn thing is working) it can take hours to clear the driveway, (MM, myself and one of our daughters all have cars we need to park in the driveway, so we need all the snow off) Then the three level deck, the walk in our front garden and both stair cases outside. Yuck. I wish there were an easier way so we could enjoy it more.
Luckily we live in a area that doesn’t have sidewalks so we don’t have to worry about that.
It is beautiful, though. I just wish it were less work. Our youngest DD gets up when it has snowed and yells “SNOW!” and MM yells, “Grab a shovel, Kid!” LOL!
