Reasons Why I Adore Master Pravus: Entry The First
At Xmas time I fill out holiday cards and usually Master Pravus only personally signs the ones intended for family. It isn’t that he doesn’t want to, but we send a lot of cards (twenty-six this year), and I normally write them out while he is at work. By the time he gets home, he simply doesn’t have time to worry about signing that many cards.
I always put a giant sticker on the back of each envelope, in lieu of licking them. The cards that he signs personally, he also chooses the stickers he wants to put on the envelope or in the card.
As he was choosing stickers for my Mom’s card this year he said:
“You know what is so awesome about putting stickers on an envelope? They will make everyone who sees them, from here to your Mom’s house, happy.”
He is always trying to brighten everyone’s day. It is one of the best things about him.
Of course, his beating arm ain’t too shabby either. =^.~=

Hahaha, the timing of this post is hilarious. treasure wanted to use stickers only this year and I wouldn’t let her. I ended up licking them all while she sat and ate bonbons or some other unhelpful shit! Having once upon a time worked in a mail sorting facility, I’ve seen what can happen to envelopes with loose flaps, open windows and other anomalies as they fly through machines with wheels and belts and doors and little gremlins…and the occasional disgruntled employee who’s tired of unjamming them. 🙂 It’s a small percentage though, only one of yours will be mangled. 😉 We were going to send you guys one, but then I realized we don’t have your new address and I’ve kept forgetting to ask you for it. Soooo, please grab a piece of construction paper, whatever color you really like, write Merry Christmas on it and sign it “Gaspar and His girl”. If you could do it, that’d be great, thanks. 🙂
Hey, as long as I’m here, from My treasure and I, Happy Holidays, Merry X-mas, Joyous Hanukkah, Rolickin’ Kwanzaa, whatever, to you crazy cats. Oh, and Happy New Year too!
@Gaspar Well, the stickers I used were all huge 3″ x 3″ stickers. Giant. 🙂 I doubt that there will be loose flaps.
Keep an eye open for your Xmas card which was mailed a few days ago! 🙂
You’re right, that’s a sizable sticker. That’s more like a small billboard. You’ll probably be OK.
Yay, I’ll keep my eyes peeled!
I’m looking forward to getting mine!! 😀 *is going to try very hard not to harm the sticker much…giggles*
@Kitty Yay! 🙂 Almost all of them are Hello Kitty Stickers, too! 🙂
