Tied and Up and In-Betweens

October is always a crazy Mewtique month for me, and this past October was no exception.  (Thank goodness, because Trois.)  Needless to say, that’s kind of where I was for most of last month, thus the lack in posts.  To make up for it: here’s a gratuitous playtime rope pic!  Whoopie!

Things are going okay here.  I’m in the middle of my five-day vacation mode at the Mewtique, so I kind of have a break.  Not that I’m not doing anything, but it lets me catch up on stocking, and I’m working on new patterns during the day.  There’s always something to do.  (Good thing).

Master Pravus still has no job, but he has a lot of interest from head hunters, etc.  No interviews yet, but it has been nice getting two or three calls a day from head hunters.  On top of those, he has been submitting his resume all sorts of places.  We’re both feeling hopeful as far as things go.  Morale is okay here.  We’re working hard to do the things we need to do during the day, and then at night we’re trying to relax a little bit.  Some days are better than others.  Now that the busy season is over with at work, I hope I get to update here a little more often.  Everything crashing at the same time hasn’t left me with as much time for blogging, but that’s changing.

We don’t have anything exciting going on for Halloween, which is a shame.  It’s our favorite holiday, but we never get to do anything during it.  We’re usually moving (not this year, thank goodness!) but there’s always something that gets in the way.  Still, I’m looking forward to the trick-or-treaters.  We have a lot of cute little kids in our neighborhood.  🙂
