Big Chair Little Kitty

I went to get fitted for a parastomal hernia belt at the ostomy clinic today and the chair was huge. I felt like a tiny doll. LoL! I was also wearing a babydoll style dress which kind of added to the affect.

At the start of the appointment she said it would probably take a couple weeks for the belt to come in. After calling the insurance company at the end she said it may take extra because of insurance pre-auth stuff. UGH. I’m really miserable here so I hope not. 🙁 We asked if she had advice in the meantime and she said definitely that if it was bothering me to lay down until it wasn’t, to go to tolerance in my day to day, etc. What a frigging nightmare.
